Antoinette ‘Toni” Harris (1996) is small(ish) defensive back with a very big dream of becoming the first woman to play in the NFL.
Harris is an American football player born in Detroit, Michigan. She has played football since childhood and played for her high school team in Redford, Michigan. Harris moved to California to play at East Los Angeles College where she played for two years as the first female football player in the school’s history. Then, on February 26, 2019, 5-foot-7, 164-pound safety accepted a scholarship to attend Central Methodist University in Missouri. She received six offers to play football at four-year universities. Harris is the first ever female to receive full football scholarships as a female playing as a non-specialist and the second woman to ever play football on scholarship.
